Nandini Paul is the wife of well known Bengali actor and former MP Tapas Paul. Actor Tapas Paul got married to Nandini Paul on August 2, 1985. The couple then welcomed a daughter to their family in 1986. Nandini Paul was a contestant in Bigg Boss Bangla. The show Bigg Boss Bangla is the Bengali version of the Indian reality television show Big Boss. Nandini Paul participated in the first season of the Bigg Boss Bangla show which commenced on June 17, 2013, and concluded on September 14, 2013. Nandini Paul had famous Bangla personalities as housemates in the Bigg Boss Bangla show. Tapas Paul was on September 29, 1958. He was an Indian actor and politician. Tapas Paul was one of the most popular actors of Bengali movies and he was known for his on-screen chemistry with Debashree Roy who is also a Bengali movie star. He was also a member of Parliament from Krishnanagar and won the 2014 Indian general election on a Trinamool Congress ticket. Tapas Paul completed his graduation from Hooghly Mohsin College under the University of Burdwan. He started his film career with the movie Dadar Kirti in 1980 which was directed by Tarun Majumder. Tapas’ second movie Bhalobasa Bhalobasa was the romantic movie with Debashree Roy which was again directed by Tarun Majumder, this movie achieved unbelievable success in the 80s.
Not only in Bengali movies but Tapas Paul also appeared in Hindi cinema with Madhuri Dixit and that was a huge success too. He received many awards like Kalakar Award, Bharat Nirman Award and a Filmfare Award. On February 18, 2020, he passed away at the age of 61. Tapas Paul was in Mumbai to visit his daughter, when he had severe chest pain at Mumbai airport when he was returning back to Kolkata. They immediately rushed to the hospital in Juhu but he died around 4:00 am. Tapas was suffering from a heart ailment and his treatment had been going on for the past two years.

After that, she was cast in Jackpot directed by Kaushik Ganguly in 2009 and in the same year she got a role in the Bengali movie Ekti Meye Tamashi. After that, she got many roles in movies and in television series but her struggle is still on. Right now, their family is going through the deep sorrow of losing the man of the family, Tapas Paul.
