The Hindi language channel &TV, which is owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises launched a new TV series Happu Ki Ultan Paltan.

The show was premiered on 4th March of this year and is entertain its fans from Monday to Friday at 10 pm.

The most interesting thing about the show Happu Ki Ultan Paltan is that it is a spinoff of &TV’s most successful sitcom Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain.

Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain

Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain is the first show of &TV and was premiered on 04th March 2015. The show focuses on two neighbours who always try to impress each other’s wives, result in landing themselves in funny situations.

Along with the above four characters, the show has many famous characters like Happu Singh (corrupt policeman), Tika-Malkhan (two best friends), Saxena (mentally challenged), etc.

Initially, the show was released as an adult comedy show, but when the makers of the show realized that it is attracting the kids also, so they decided to lower the adult content of the show.

The spinoff of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain

After winning so many awards and popularity, the makers of the show started the spinoff of the show, which is based on the character of a corrupt Daroga Happu Singh and name of the show is Happu Ki Ultan Paltan.

The show is covering the married and personal life of Happu Singh.

The cast of Happu Ki Ultan Paltan

Daroga Happu Singh: The lead character of the show playing by 39 years old Yogesh Tripathi, who was born on 11th August 1979. He started his acting career in 2005 and playing the role of Daroga Happu Singh in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain from 2015.

Katori Amma: The role of Happu’s mother aka Katori Amma is portraying by 58 years old Himani Shivpuri. She was born on 24th October 1960 at Dehradun, Uttrakhand. Commencing her acting career in 1984, seen on many blockbusters movies like Koyla, Kuchh Kuchh Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaenge etc.

Rajesh (Happu Singh’s Wife): Winner of a reality show Sabse Bada Kalakar, Kamna Pathak is playing the character of Happu Singh’s wife Rajesh. She is recreating the portrait of Sonakshi Sinha in Dabangg. Also, she is called as the Sonakshi Sinha of Television.

She gets training as an actress from the Barry John Acting Theatre and she was associated for the around 15 years, with the same theatre.

Happu Singh’s Son: Born on 12th February 2008, played by an 11-year-old kid Aryan Prajapati. He is in the acting industry from 2013.

Beni: Played by Vishwanath Chatterjee. His upcoming movie is Junglee, which is scheduled to release on 29th of March this year.

Dada Ji: Playing by Sharad Vyas.

Kamlesh: Played by the actor Sanjay Choudhary, once nominated for the best actor in a comic role at Indian Telly Jury Award.

Chamchi: Playing by a cute kid Zaara Warsi.

Ranbeer: Playing by a kid named Somya Azad, who is the son of former Indian Cricketer and politician Kirti Azad.
